Kathryn Ross visited our circle this week to talk about being a scientist. The children had many ideas about what scientists do including make experiments, work in museums, draw pictures, find crystals and figure things out.
Kathryn then presented us with a very cool ant farm and showed us how scientists observe carefully to learn about what they are studying. We have put magnifying glasses and drawing papers out with the ants, fish tank and our guinea pigs so the children can observe them and document their findings.
Friday brought a break from the cold and snow and we spent the day in the backyard!
Several helpful friends scrubbed out an old aquarium.
And of course, there was time for snack.

Announcements:Studio Night for parents will be February 11th from 6-8 pm. This is a great opportunity to explore the art studio and experience first hand how your children are learning and creating .
We will be closed from Friday, February 13-17th for a work day and President's Holiday. We will return on the 18th.
This year's Unbirthday Party will be Sunday, February 22nd at Dardano's from 11 to 1. Hope to see you there!
