The highlight of this week would have to be Mother's Night. The children so enjoyed showing off their favorite works and sharing special time with their moms in the classroom. We are so glad you could come! 
Meanwhile during the day, we continue to explore the environment, have new lessons, and practice work we enjoy. Poking out continents is a popular geography activity. Using a stylus to perforate a shape builds pincer grip strength and eye-hand coordination. Children like to do one continent and wear it as a necklace or poke out all 7 to make a map.

We are so tickled with our new guinea pigs. They are such a great addition to our classroom and provide many opportunities for learning from pet care to rodent facts. After considering many suggestions for names, the WHAM class named the gray, short-haired guinea pig, Bumpy. WHPM named the brown, long-haired one, Sunny. Come meet them. They are cute as can be!
